In your own words, what is different about DRDA? (What stands out to you about the firm’s culture, mission, or team?)
What stands out to me about DRDA is that it feels personal. The firm cares about its clients, but it also cares about its people. There is a strong growth mindset here, but it is not growth at any cost. Relationships matter, trust matters, and that makes a difference.
What do you find most rewarding about your role (or being an accountant, if applicable)? (What gives you satisfaction or purpose in your work?)
I like helping build a workplace where people can do good work and feel good about where they work. It is rewarding to bring structure, clarity, and support to a business that is growing and changing.
How did you choose your career path (or how did you get into accounting)? (Tell us what inspired or led you here.)
I got into HR because I wanted to do work that involved both people and business. Over time, I realized I really enjoy helping organizations build strong teams, better leaders, and a healthier work environment.
In your own words, what is your job description? (Describe what you do and how you help clients or the team.)
I lead Talent & Culture with a focus on making sure our culture matches our values. That means how we hire, how we treat each other, how leaders show up, and how we grow the business all need to align. My job is to help build a place where people do strong work, support each other, and feel proud of what we are building together.
Practice Areas or Focus Areas: (List your areas of expertise, services, or types of clients you work with.)
Talent strategy, hiring, employee relations, performance management, leadership support, HR operations, compliance, and culture.
Personal Insights
What is your hidden talent or something unique about you? (This could be a skill, hobby, or fun fact.)
I’m usually pretty quick to read a room and figure out what’s really going on.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? (Hobbies, family time, community involvement, etc.)
I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and making memories with the people I love.
Where did you grow up or go to school? (Optional — helps make bios more personal.)
I grew up in Corpus Christi and had a great childhood. We were at the beach most every weekends. One of my favorite memories is swimming out to the second sandbar to fish with my dad, except for the time I got stung by a jellyfish.
Favorite snack, movie, or hobby (optional but fun!):
I love to travel. Even better if I have Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups in my bag.
Optional: Add a Personal Quote or Motto
Do you have a personal motto or quote that inspires you?
Was mich nicht umbringt, macht mich stärker.
— Friedrich Nietzsche
It’s a simple reminder that the hard things in life don’t break you—they build you.
