Overview

In your own words, what is different about DRDA?
The firm offers a tremendous array of business services, provided by a team of professionals who are dedicated to top quality client service, while maintaining a very close knit family-like environment among the staff.

What is most rewarding about your job?
My work at DRDA has provided many new challenges, all of which I very much enjoy striving to meet and conquer. I fear no dragon.

What is your hidden talent?
In years past I had been accused of being a somewhat decent bassist, but more recently, most people seem to enjoy my cooking.

What is your philosophy as it relates to your job?
Always do what is necessary to get the job done, with client satisfaction being paramount.

How did you choose accounting?
Starting as a data entry clerk at a small bookkeeping firm, I quickly wanted to learn more, so with some encouragement and initial training from the owner of the firm, I began to become educated in the philosophies and mechanics of bookkeeping.

In your own words, what is your job description?
First and foremost, to do whatever I can do within my abilities to please our clients, but, more specifically, to provide any necessary bookkeeping support for the firm itself.

Education
Graduated Dobie High School in 1981, some general, accounting and computer courses at San Jacinto College, but most of my education has been on the job for over three decades.

Community & Organizational Involvement
Coaching various teams for my children and grandson over the years.

What do you enjoy doing when not at work?
Cooking, and creating unique pickling recipes. Also, my wife and I enjoy boating, and riding our Harley.

Fun Fact about you.
I am an avid collector of all things related to llamas and/or alpacas.
